Faculty of Post-gradual Professional Training of Physicians was organized in I.M.Sechenov Moscow Medical Academy in 1989.
The faculty is accomplishing the following categories of postgraduate and complementary professional training:
- Raising the level of medical skill at common and thematic cycles of lectures on the specialties “Clinical medicine”, “Pediatrics”, “Public Health Management”;
- Training on qualification and certification access courses for medical personnel certification ;
- Training on certification courses;
- Professional retraining (specialization) of physicians according the order N337 of Ministry of Health of Russian Federation, at the network of educational programs for more than 500 academic hours;
- Primary specialization (training at clinical intership and clinical residency);
- Training of research and teaching stuff at post-graduate research course and doctor’s degree course.
Postgraduate training of foreigners may be conducted in Faculty of Post-gradual Professional Training of Physicians. This service is paid.
