I heard this name before: Kalyazin. I knew it’s a name of a town somewhere in Russia. Always everything about Russia is interesting for me like names, places, history of names and places, nature of names and places, soul of names and places.
I don’t know why? Perhaps because i love Russia, this magnificent country and i love great Russian nation and of course its culture.
Whatever i said (kalyazin). It means for me another thing more than a place, a little town. When with other students of I.M. Sechenov First State Medical University in a cold rainy day traveled to this town, simply i found myself in the middle of kindness.
We as foreign students of first medical university went to see an orphan house in there. It was a warm big house near the river Volga with 52 friendly lovely and smart young boys and girls (age 3-18). We gave to these our new friends some little gifts (television, toys...) but they gave us the most expensive thing that they had – it was their hearts full of kindness.
It was 15th anniversary of their home. And they had a really interesting party. They were lovely as i said and they had an excellent hospitality. Students were from different countries with different languages. But our new young friends gave us a big lesson that kindness has an international language – we can love each other without much talking.
In this day i found hope. Hope for to love and to be loved. It’s the diamond that i found and you can find it in this old house with a lovely Russian name Rodnichok (means a small spring) near the river Volga. I don’t know how but certainly i fell in love with Volga because in a cold rainy day brought to me kindness and hope and i will back to their Rodnichok to visit my friends again, I’m sure about it.
Thank you all friends in the first medical university that helped me to discover another side of humanity, loving and thinking about people just because they are people not for anything else.
I wish for you all peace and happiness.
