Assessement including marking schemes.
Each subject taken will be allotted one of the following grades at the following grades at the winter and summer examinations:
- Grade - “5” Five - Excellent;
- Grade - “4” Four - Good;
- Grade - “3” Three - Satisfactory.
Apart from this papers are marked with “Passed”, which indicates adequate knowledge in a particular subject without actual grading, there is no officially recognised equivalence between grading and marking by percentage.
However, it is understood that:
- Grade 5 is equivalent to – 90% and above;
- Grade 4 is equivalent to – 80-89%;
- Grade 3 is equivalent to - 75 -79%;
- Grade 2 is failed.
