The programmes for General Medicine, Stomatology and Pharmacy are sufficiently extensive and full. Each subject begins with the introduction which includes a historical section; the particular subject`s place among others as well as the interrelation with them is indicated. In studying the disease the emphasis is given to epidemiology, aetiology, pathogenesis, pathological physiology, pathological morphology, clinical picture, methods of laboratory and instrumental examination of a patient, diagnoses, differential diagnoses, complication, prognosis, treatment and prevention.

Latin terms are given according to the International Nomenclature of different specialties, as well as by clinical subjects in conformity with the International Classification of Diseases and Causes of Death.

During the period of training students are taught special subjects: in succession they learn theoretical (years One, Two, Three) and clinical fundamentals (years Three, Four, Five, Six) and acquire necessary practical skills. Every stage of training is the basis to the next one. The teaching process includes lectures, laboratory and practical work at hospitals – examination of patients, clinical duties, etc.

Forms of controlling knowledge: colloquia, tests, quizes, examinations, State examinations, Final Interdiscipline Test. Dairy control: oral answers, laboratory and written works, MCQ-tests, different forms of programmed control, recording of case histories.
